مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا A place of refuge and security for the people

﴿ وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ﴾. ‎[ البقرة: 125]

حين تنتهي المناسك، يبدأ الشوق للعودة. فمكة ليست وجهة تنتهي بتمام الرحلة، بل مثابةٌ للناس؛ تعود إليها القلوب كلما اشتاقت للسكينة والقرب.

"And ˹remember˺ when We made the Sacred House1 a centre and a sanctuary for the people ˹saying˺, “˹You may˺ take the standing-place of Abraham2 as a site of prayer.” And We entrusted Abraham and Ishmael to purify My House for those who circle it, who meditate in it, and who bow and prostrate themselves ˹in prayer˺." ‎[ Al-Baqarah: 125]

When the rituals end, the longing to return begins.
Makkah is more than a destination; it is a place hearts return to whenever they seek serenity, closeness, and peace.
