Jeddah’s new King Abdulaziz Airport

With the Singaporean Changi Airport Group winning a bid to operate Jeddah’s new King Abdulaziz Airport for the next 20 years, people are expressing high hopes that Saudi Arabia’s busiest airport would one day become as famous as Singapore’s Changi Airport. Construction work is 88 percent done and the airport is expected to operate in mid-2018. Our senior journalist, Lulwa Shalhoub takes us to a tour inside the new airport.
